Alexander Berg and Robin Jonsson – best known by their monikers Dorisburg and Kalawila – have been friends for a decade but collaborators for barely a moment. What has emerged so far from this is quite something: rhythmic yet immersive, capricious yet lucid, Avancera is the electronic sound of tomorrow.
Driven to create music that combines their two unique spheres of inspiration, yet exists in a single, almost-mythical universe, Avancera demonstrates what can result when virtuoso visions collide, combine, and ultimately synchronise.
