Hailing from Gothenburg, Arkajo a.k.a. Nils Krogh has risen to prominence through consistently superb output, both in his own right and as one half of Genius of Time, the moniker he shares with close friend and long-time collaborator Dorisburg. Having already released essential cuts on Aniara Recordings and Clone’s Royal Oak imprint, his own ARKAJO label recently put out a joint EP, Void Pyramid, featuring both him and Dorisburg at their evocative and rhythmic best.
Patterns of Perception 54 perfectly encapsulates the artist’s deep, emotive and irresistibly groove-laden sound, which expertly joins together elements of house, acid and breaks with his own unique vision of techno.
